Hi there, nice to meet you. My name is Jess and I am a stay at home mom of one (so far). My son’s name is Evan and he’s now 19 months old! But as you know, all of us mom’s have multiple identities…so here are a few more of mine so you can get to know me a little. I’m a marine biologist: went to school for zoology and aquarium science, worked at a kid’s marine science camp for a while, and later public aquariums, until Mr. E showed up. I’m an artist: (here’s where I have the most ADD, sorry!) I like acrylic painting,colored pencil drawing, linocut printing, crafting of all sorts, and most recently sewing (!),(my mom is kicking herself for finally getting rid of the sewing machine I scoffed at). I’m a wife: my hubby is great…cooking tips will mostly be filtering through me from him! I’m a reader, a writer, a SCUBA diver, an explorer of backyard creeks and woods, a procrastinator and a slob (yes this website is fixing ME too). I also have been known to have an opinion or two or three (if you have a few too, we’ll get along great!). Oh yes, and then there’s our horribly overweight orange tabby cat, Tuna, to complete our average American fam. Write some words around here so I can get to know you too!
