Ok, this is it. My first post. This is for real now, so here goes. Welcome to my website. It’s my latest Grand Idea. I hope you like it. So why am I here, and what is this all about? Well, it goes something like this. If you’re like me…a stay-at-home 20, 30, or 40-something mom, then you probably didn’t take home economics in high school. Probably home economics wasn’t even available for you to take. And if, in fact, it was, you’d probably have scoffed at the idea while making a nasty face like you just smelled a dead skunk on the side of the road. After all, we are the new generations of liberated women, right? RIGHT!! But then you got married (or not)… had a baby (uh oh)… decided to stay home (WHOOPEE NO MORE WORK EVER AGAIN for a while!!)… and suddenly found yourself in charge of everything (AGAGGGHHHHHHHHHH!)

Well, you made it here, so you’re with me right? Let’s figure this out together. So me, being a research goddess, I looked high and low for a good “how to be a stay at home mom” resource and found a few things here and there…but nothing really satisfied what I really wanted… someone to tell me “what do I do? when do I do it? and how the heck do I entertain this kiddo at the same time? and by the way how about some free time to entertain Grand Ideas on the side?” So here, I am…making it up as I go along. Join me on this journey. I need some support, I need some discipline. I need YOU… so c’mon!! Let’s go!!
Just for the record, and so you and I can both have faith in me: I know I mentioned this was my latest Grand Idea, which implies I have Grand Idea ADD. Well yes, that is true. But this place is a promise to myself to at least keep all my ideas and projects and musings in one place. We can finish what we start or we can create something that grows forever. This website is going to help me (and hopefully you) do both. GOOD LUCK to us all!
