It’s still my birthday and I’m posting again. I have something that deserves it’s own post. I have made a new year’s resolution to start selling my artwork and/or crafts every year for years and years and years! FINALLY, as a birthday present to myself, I have opened my own Etsy.com store! I only have one item listed and it’s not even the one I plan on selling (I want to do custom orders to start out with), but it’s a start! It has taken me so long to get to this point! I even made a widget for my store for this site…it’s over there on right, see?
WHOOPEE!! I DID IT!!! Can you tell I’m excited?
So the plan is to get this little side-business going ever so slowly, working on it little by little, so that by the time the kid(s) are in school, I’ll have something I can do from home as a career. My dream is to have my own in-home studio, selling artwork and handmade items from home. I don’t know if I’ll ever make much money, but I have to try and see what happens. Maybe, it will turn into something sustainable, who knows? And now is the time to work on it, when I’m at home already not making money right?
